Sign the Petition

White House Petition

If you believe that Israel should abide by international law in regard to its illegal settlements in the Occupied Territories, and you think that the US should suspend its economic and military aid to Israel until that happens, then feel free to sign the White House petition from the link above.

A few years ago, Netanyahu visited Obama and publicly dismissed the calls to stop the expansion of settlements. What is insanely odd about this event is that he was the first prime minister of Israel who defied an American president asking the Israelis to abide by their own signed accords, and the Israeli counterpart did not pay lip-service to the request. Normally, the PM's of Israel will say of course, and the Palestinians are no partner for peace, but at least they would pay formal public lip-service to the announcement.

Not Netanyahu, no. The man who said, on Sept. 13, 2001, two days after 9-11, that the attacks were "good for Israel", simply went to address US Congress and said repeatedly that the 1967 borders were "indefensible" and that Jerusalem was the eternal capital of Israel.

Never mind that all past negotiations were based on 1967 borders, and the original partition listed Jerusalem as an international city belonging to neither Israel nor Palestine.

How did the US Congress react to a visiting PM of a foreign nation that has conducted the most aggressive espionage campaign against the US in the world? By giving this war-mongering war criminal 31 standing ovations!!!!!  31 !!!!  He spit in the eye of an US President and received 31 standing ovations. Truly surreal.

Recently, the Palestinians won Observer Status at the UN. How ironic that is, as the original partition created 2 nations. But after Israeli terror which drove 750,000 Palestinians from their homeland, and years of land expropriation, and decades of political servitude, now the world is discussing a future state for the Palestinians.

Their state was supposed to be created in equal rights as Israel in 1948.  But Israel keeps taking more Palestinian land. There can be no peace with settlements. There can be no peace without justice.

Please sign the petition.

More Settler Homes in East Jerusalem

Telegraph Article

More illegal homes in East Jerusalem? At least Netanyahu does not say one thing and do another, like Sharon and Olmert and all the others. His agenda is very clear. Grab every hilltop and mound of dirt on Palestinian lands before the policy becomes too embarrassing for Washington to continue to conceal/overlook/condone, pick one. But the American State Department will condemn it in fact, but when it goes to the UNSC, like last week, the US will, once again, be the lone veto. Even though it is against stated US policy. Even though we denounce the policy. We always protect our rogue little buddy at the UNSC. Lip service is a miserable thing. The US winks at Israel and says that the US must publicly condemn it, but, in private, we whisper "don't worry, Israel, we won't ever do anything about it!" Whether it is Obama, Bush, Clinton, et al.

Quite shameful. But it has all been said before.

John Kerry : Is He good For Israel?

Daily Beast Article

I posted the other day about the crazed Zionist reaction to the possibility of Chuck Hagel being nominated for Secretary of Defense. Now John Kerry is the likely nominee for Secretary of State, and the Israel filters are beginning with questions like : Is he good for Israel? He once embarrassed Netanyahu. Kerry is critical of settlements. This is becoming surreal.

Is he good for the US? Will he resist being bludgeoned by AIPAC and its many minions? Will he work for the diplomatic interests of the US?

These are the better questions that should be raised.

Never mind that Netanyahu embarrassed Obama and Biden on settlements, and when Netanyahu addressed our Congress and received 31 standing ovations when his policy concerning the '67 borders was in opposition to the longstanding US position, I almost renounced my citizenship that day. What should have happened was that every clown in that Congressional hall that applauded this madman, who mind you said the 9-11 attacks were great for Israel two days after 9-11, should have been shot for disloyalty.

But these are different times, and remember that Israel is always the innocent defenseless morally-upright victim.

And I am a bowling ball.

AIPAC and the NRA

Huffington Post Article

Nice piece by MJ Rosenberg who does a great job contrasting the strengths of 2 well-known Washington lobbies, AIPAC and the NRA. I mention the NRA currently as the events in Connecticut will undoubtedly put their lobbying under the microscope in the short term, while AIPAC's influence neither waxes nor wanes, but is constant.

Of course, some people would have you believe that there is no powerful Israel lobby in Washington!

Massacres and Gun Control

I think every American, in the past 2 days, has taken a break from their normal routine of texting, phone calls ad nauseam, watching comedies on the tele, and perhaps were more restrained on their Facebook  posts. It has been a difficult pill to swallow, that 26 lives have been snuffed out, 20 of which were 5-10 year old kids, and the current news report is that they were all shot multiple times by this 20 year old. I do not know if he was a lunatic, or autistic, or just completely consumed by pain, or just predisposed to violence of the magnitude observed yesterday. He killed his mom and all these innocents and in the final analysis, we will never fully know why this happened.

But I see that people are seizing on this tragedy and ramping up the arguments on the need for gun control. I do not think that in the wake of such a tragedy that people should shift gears to political agendas, but they have, en masse, so now we all have to consider the various arguments.

US society once deemed the consumption of alcohol morally abhorrent, so prohibition legislation was passed. What was the outcome? People still satisfied their thirst by buying illegal alcohol, and the very worst elements of organized crime developed in the US as a result of the bootlegging trade. Al Capone in Chicago and the Purple Gang in Detroit, and the emergence of modern-day organized crime followed.

So it might be fair to say that when a government sees fit to legislate morality, bad things happen, as unintended consequences. We got organized crime.  Years later, prohibition was lifted, but we were left with the organized crime.

Then came the criminalization of drugs, such as marijuana, cocaine (which was in the original formulation of Coca-Cola!) , heroin and everything else.  Did people still get their fixes from these drugs? Of course! Criminalizing an activity or possession of an item does not rid society of the problems associated. Just like prohibition, when booze became illegal, the government simply made criminals out of normal citizens who had developed a taste for alcohol.

But these evil substances are destroying our youth! OK so lets prohibit these substances and activities, and that should solve all problems! The moment our youth realize that it is against the law to consume these drugs, then they will grow out of their habits and addictions! Wrong.

Making the possession of an object or an activity or habit illegal does not reduce the frequency with which these offenses occur. The way to combat immoral behavior is by educating people morally and ethically.

The Swiss have the 3rd highest gun ownership rate in the world, as Swiss law provides that all able-bodied men should possess a firearm for the protection of their home and inclusion into the national militia.

What is the difference between the Swiss and Americans?

Plain and simple, the Swiss understand that human life is sacred and precious and morally it is inconceivable to take another human life unless it is absolutely necessary, like someone trying to kill you or your family or showing hostile aggression to your nation.

In the US, however, violence is commonplace. It is omnipresent. It is in our movies and video games. It is in our politician's lies, like justifying going to war in Iraq because of 3,000 dead Americans on 9-11, even though Iraq had nothing to do with 9-11, al-queda or WMD's. 11 Years later and 5,000 dead Americans later and 35,000 wounded Americans later, everbody is putting yellow ribbons on their cars saying "Support the Troops" . I support the troops not with a token ribbon on a car but by opposing their needless deaths on a pack of lies. But not many people realize that some 1.2 million Iraqis died because of our intelligence failures/misrepresentations/lies. Not many people see the destruction of an entire civil society with 2.5 million Iraqis displaced due to the US invasion. Americans just bury their head in the sand of reality and say, well we might have been wrong, or worse yet, those ragheads got what they deserved.  Remember Madeleine Albright's pronouncement that 500,000 dead women and children as a result of US sanctions was worth the price. How little value we place on other lives! Violence is seen with the policies of Bush and Obama, dropping bombs on anything that moves by drones because intelligence agencies say that a likely bad guy will be at this location at a certain time. Collateral damage in the form of high civilian deaths is deemed acceptable. What is the difference between mourning kids killed by a lunatic in the US and kids killed by a US gunship in Afghanistan? One was done by a lone nut while the other is a deliberate policy, harsh as it sounds. Violence is seen in our police force tasing 90 year-old ladies who were going 3 miles per hour over the speed limit and did not understand the bellicose instructions of the armed gestappo of the US, and so they got tased.  The US is the most violent nation ever.  This violent streak permeates through our entire society.

Will stricter gun control laws cause this populace to become more morally upright? That is the central question here. I think these massacres can be correlated to the disintegration of the family unit, parents not teaching their kids right from wrong, kids not seeing the long-term consequences of their actions,  the younger generations not respecting authority, and simply having no respect for the sanctity of human life.

Here is some food for thought : for each child needlessly murdered in Connecticut, the IDF killed 16.3 Palestinian children in 2008-2009 during Operation Cast Lead, a massacre that most of our Congress supported, despite the Goldstone Report later finding Israel guilty of war crimes. A total of 326 children were murdered by the Israelis, and they died for no other reason that they were unlucky enough to be born Palestinian at a time when a global hegemon like the US deems Israeli life precious and Palestinian life expendable.

The murder of innocent people should affect all of society, and the murder of innocent children, whether done by a lone nut with something to prove, or by a rabid military trying to ethnically cleanse a region. All life is precious. Let's remember the gravity of this precept.

Israel Firsters Fear Chuck Hagel

Politico Article

Here come the Israel firsters, ranting about Chuck Hagel and his anti-Semitic feelings. Let's translate that last sentence sanely ; Chuck Hagel puts the US first and asks questions that make the Israel firsters cringe, like should we be letting Israel, through AIPAC, dictate our foreign policy in the Middle East? Since the Israel firsters cannot construct a valid response to this reasonable query, what do they do? Ad hominem attacks, coordinated character assassination, slander ad nauseam, etc. Chuck Hagel is a great American who served his country in Vietnam, who served his country in the US Senate. Are we not allowed to discuss obvious issues, even if they are contentious to a small-minded few that do not put America first? The point of having democratic free speech is for this reason exactly. The Israel firsters want a Gestappo type system, where if you do not agree with the Israel first agenda, then the Gestappo will hunt you down and slander your name all over the internet. They send out their thought police Zionazi minions to hijack the debate and shift the focus to Jewish suffering from reality. I was happy to read the comments at the end of the article. It seems that finally Americans are starting to connect the dots a bit.

And to all the Israel firsters mentioned in the article, just move to Tel Aviv, or Sderot, and take up a weapon and fight if you feel this strongly about putting Israel's interests above the US national interest. Quit tampering with our political process, and quit slandering good people for the sake of a dying ideology called Zionism.

The world, outside the narrow confines of US borders, recognizes Zionism for what it truly is : colonialism, racism, terrorism, and occupation all wrapped up into one truly nasty bundle.

But still so many governments, ours being the worst example, are politically and emotionally blackmailed into serving Israel, through massive lobbying, guilt trips extraordinaire, and threats.

IDF Assaults Journalists? Not the Noble IDF!

Article from The Telegraph

Another instance of Israel's brutal treatment of the international press corps. Israel says that it will conduct an investigation! That's a good one. Israel's internal inquiries into its soldiers' illegal use of force always come back that the actions by the IDF were justified. Or in the rarest of cases where they find than an illegal murder happened, then the IDF soldier gets like 4 months in jail.

I am sure that no intelligent person believes the lie that a Palestinian kid pulled out a toy gun at a checkpoint which forced the IDF to shoot him. I guess this particular Palestinian did not know how trigger-happy the IDF is and decided to have some holiday fun, in good nature of course, with his Israeli brethren. Please!

It seems that in the face of the current international criticism that the Israelis, rather than clean up their behavior, have decided to hell with the rest of the world.

God's chosen people indeed.

Israel Rejects Criticism !

Globe and Mail Article

I love this article! France, the UK, Sweden, Norway, and perhaps Spain all called in their Israeli Ambassadors for a deserved scolding on Israel's UNILATERAL move to announce more settlement building. Last week, Susan Rice, US Ambassador to the the UN said with omniscience that "unilateral moves were counter-productive" . That is quite funny. And then Hillary Clinton, Secretary of State for the US said that the Palestinian bid at the UN for mere Observer status would deal a lethal blow to the peace talks between the Israelis and the Palestinians!!!! I almost fell out of my chair laughing at that one. Israel does not want peace. Israel does not desire peace. Shimon Peres once said of the Arab League proposals that 25 years prior to their introduction, that every Israeli leader would have leaped at the conditions. But Israel refused to meet and discuss the measures.  Last week, the Palestinians won a UNGA recognition of its basic rights, followed by the Israeli announcement the next day that it would expand its illegal settlements, that it would defy Oslo, the RoadMap, and every other norm of international law.  Where is the critical press? Where are the tough questions on why the most lawless member of the UN can continue to defy international law and get away with it?

Israel is currently being exposed for the colonialist and terrorist state that it is. Most nations with a conscience have criticized Israel's actions. But the US, ever waning in its global hegemony, continues to back and support and protect Israel at the UN.

One day, when the American sheeple are not so blinded, Americans will realize that Israel was behind : (1) the incredibly flawed decision to attack and invade and occupy Iraq  (2)  the Lavon affair   (3)   The USS Liberty attack   (4)  The assassination of JFK and (5)  The false flag operation on 9-11 !!!!

When they wake up from their technologically-induced slumber and mind-numbing propagandized comas and calibrate their moral compass to obvious injustices, which speak volumes to right versus wrong in any moral code known to humans, maybe then they will ask the correct questions.

Until this epiphany of the ignorant masses occurs, we are most certainly doomed ... by the Zionist Jewish bankers at the Fed and the Zionist Jewish movie-makers in Hollywood and the Zionist Media moguls who have carefully programmed the masses to support its Christian versus Islam agenda. They have wrested control of the "greatest democracy on Earth" . Your mind is their plaything.

Rise Up!
