Policy Shift ?

It seems that the Obama administration understands that US security is tied to doing the right thing in Palestine. At least the rhetoric is more balanced than it was under Bush's tenure. We shall see. If this does indeed represent a policy shift, I say about time the US views the problem properly. And although the domestic decisions made by this admin spell our ruination, at least they are doing something right in foreign policy.

Yes, for the moment...

For those in my family who have believed investment people; get out of the bond market, too. We have two choices with the current economic climate...tax everyone more than Europe taxes its citizens (something I think Americans won't stand for considering that Europeans get something for their taxes and we only get wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, and the survival of Nato (which I think should be dissolved), and the continuance of Israel or to default on treasury bonds (our debt, in other words). Since China owns our debt, as well as lots in the EU, I suspect that we will default on our debt. Of course, afterward our dollar will be worthless, but it is almost worthless now, so I think that this is the avenue that the government and the Fed will take. There is a little good news...we can be almost self-sufficient without the rest of the world. For Americans, whether our dollar is worth anything in the rest of the world is not so important if we give up our penchant for being the leader of the world. What did it gain for us, anyway? We squandered any benefit that that title gained for us.

Yesterday, Ron Paul was interviewed by 5 of the national media! Amazing! He announced that he would not run for President a couple of days earlier and suddenly, he is the most sought after Congressman about the economy and FEMA prisons. I suppose that if he isn't a threat to the "establishment", he can be heard...FINALLY.

What do you think of the new 3 Treasury picks?. .. After "Nazareth" declined? She probably had tax problems, too, as Geithner had. Makes you wonder who is running the country?
