More Confiscation of Palestinian Land

This is why the US is hated, and it's pretty simple really. Israel will only listen to one nation, and when it continues to use our tax dollars to fund their war machine and their illegal settlements, the whole world views the US as being unbalanced.

The US protects Israel in crucial UNSC votes (39 times since 1972), they are the most aggressive, only nuclear armed state in the middle east, (which has attacked US military targets twice before) and they get away with it.

There are 2 schools of thought on how to end terror.

1. swat the flies
2. dry up the swamp that creates the flies

Until we force Israel to abide by international law and Geneva conventions and UN resolutions and stop confiscating other people's lands, the US will always face a terrorist threat. Until we address AIPAC's role in our ill-fated foreign policy with respect to Israel over the years this will never happen.

Israel is destroying the image of the US and bottom-line, it doesnt care about us one bit.

Maybe it is time to look hard at a "clean break" like the disloyal Neocons wanted several years ago.

Cut em loose or tie our own noose.

I have a 3rd solution to end the terror threat: Stop selling them weapons. The U.S. is the world's largest arms dealer. We sell more weapons used by terrorists and by other countries against our own troops than any other nation on earth.

As a side note - couldn't the Jewish people of Europe simply BOUGHT land and moved to their old 'homeland' much more peacefully than having the allied powers force the re-creation of a 2000 year old failed state?

And didn't the UN resolution which created Israel not also create the nation of Palestine? Why have we only supported the existence of one of these if we voted for both?

Because AIPAC wields immense power.

It is not new either. Dulles, Fulbright, Thomas Moorer have all talked about the influence of the pro-Israel lobbying group, and these people were prominent decades ago.

AIPAC has only become stronger. When Larry Franklin can be sentenced to almost 13 years in prison for passing classified info to AIPAC (Franklin worked at the Pentagon under Douglas Feith, a person Tommy Franks called the dumbest human being on the planet) and 2 months after the sentencing, 2 months after the virtual media blackout on this incident, our Congressional "leaders" , Rice, Cheney, Bolton, etc addressed AIPAC and sabre-rattled on Iran for Israel, something is dreadfully wrong. There was a time in this country that if elected officials dealt with treasonous groups, they would be labeled traitors themselves. Not any more. This new crop of leaders puckers up and kiss their ass.

But anyone who critcizes Israel or the power of the Israeli lobby gets called an anti-semite.

Just ask Jimmy Carter, Walt and Mearsheimer, Norman Finkelstein (he's a self-hating Jew not an anti-semite!), Noam Chomsky (also a self-hating Jew)

Samadams, google "blackened beacon of lost liberty" and carefully read the UN resolutions the US has vetoed in the SC on behalf of Israel (lone veto mind you)
